Roy’s Great 10-2-10 Tenathon – Saturday 23rd March
Our long-time coach Roy Richardson has decided to use the fun of tennis and the collective goodwill of both our tennis and the local communities to raise money for and awareness of Cancer Research UK. To do something more unusual and hopefully to include local residents of Chorleywood, he will be playing doubles tennis for 12 hours continually (with some breaks!) for Charity.
The Tennis Club is very supportive of this event and we hope to have a lot of activities supporting the day which will involve people playing with and against Roy (paying for the privilege of course), with food, games and competitions.
This Charity event will start at 10:00 on Saturday, 23rd March, and finish at 22:00. So, there will be 12 one-hour (50 mins plus 10-minute break) slots which you may bid to play in.
You may play with Roy, or against him – left side or right side – 36 slots in total to bid for.
