All CLTC members, Parents of Juniors, Visiting Teams and Coaches: CLTC want to ensure that Juniors are respected and encouraged in their tennis so please read and abide by the following:
Please:
- Do not use an audible obscenity and/or make an obscene gesture of any kind
- Do not at any time verbally or physically abuse any official, opponent, spectator or other person
- Do check you have the relevant consent from parents/carers, children and adults before taking or using photos and videos
- Encourage all players of both teams by applauding good shots
- Let there be positive encouragement to players between matches with constructive comments rather than focusing on mistakes
- No shouting of instructions to players either during play or at the change of ends
- No use of undermining language to any player
- Respect the decision of umpires/officials
- Ensure all players shake hands at the end of the match when it is deemed safe to do so
